The purpose of the RCSAC is to provide advice to the management agency on matters relating to the protection, conservation, presentation and management of the Riversleigh section of the World Heritage Area from the viewpoint of relevant stakeholders. Membership includes up to 11 representatives and one independant chair from the following sectors: Waanyi traditional owners, community, palaeontology or other research relevant to Riversleigh, outback tourism, local government, tour operators, natural resource management, and local community including neighbours.
