Blood alcohol levels

Miles Kemp made this Freedom of Information request to SA Health

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, SA Health should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear SA Health,

Since 2010 all road users who were over the age of ten and involved in any capacity in a road accident - drivers, motorcycle riders, vehicle occupants and pedestrians - have been required to undergo a blood alcohol testcarried out by hospital staff.

I am seeking any documents, dated since the beginning of this rule in 2010, which show the results of these tests.

I am happy to accept a summary table of the results as the sole document in the determination, provided that includes a breakdown of positive results by age, and the blood alcohol levels recorded.

Yours faithfully,

Miles Kemp
