We refer to the attached email of 16 May 2018, in which you have requested the department to conduct an internal review of the correspondence you received on 2 May 2018.

 

Please be advised that the notice of intention to refuse is not a decision.  In the notice, you are invited to revise the scope of request because the work to process your request would involve substantial and unreasonable diversion of the department's resources.

 

We note that you have revised the scope of your request as indicated in the attached email as follow:

 

                "internal policy and internal working group papers relating to the departments interpretation and administration of the R&D Tax Incentive as it relates to the ICT Industry from 1 March - 7 May 2018"

 

We will consider your revised request and you will be notified whether the scope of your request has been sufficiently refined.
