Phillip Sweeney

Dear Australian Prudential Regulation Authority,

National Australia Bank (NAB) implemented "BEAR" on 1 July 2018.

The documents I seek are copies of correspondence from NAB to APRA providing articulation of the accountabilities of the NAB Board, the Executive Leadership Team and other selected senior leaders.

Yours faithfully,

Phillip Sweeney

Phillip Sweeney

Dear Australian Prudential Regulation Authority,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Australian Prudential Regulation Authority's handling of my FOI request 'BEAR Implementation by National Australia Bank'.

The whole purpose of BEAR legislation is to ensure that there is personal accountability for misconduct in financial service organisations.

If this information is kept secret then there will be no accountability and the legislation is a complete waste of time.

I seek a review of this decision on the grounds that public interest outweighs any provisions in the APRA Act.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/b...

Yours faithfully,

Phillip Sweeney
