Policy and program management are waiting on a decision on for the following
recommendation:
· Agree to target health professionals through the invitation process in response to COVID-
19 impacts (MS20-000414 - 2019-20 Migration Program Third Quarter Update)
As a result, we are proposing to delay the April invitation round. Could we get your clearance on
the TP s. 22(1) has drafted below?

Due to the impacts of COVID-19 the April 2020 Subclass 189 and Subclass 491 Family
Sponsored invitation round has been delayed. It is anticipated that invitation rounds will
proceed in the coming months.
