Response to Freedom of Information  request: FA20/11/00016 
I would like to know the total number of applicants, as at 31 October 2020 (or later), that have 
been approved for conferral of  Citizenship and are now waiting to  attend a  Citizenship 
Ceremony in the Queensland's BRISBANE Council area. 

The  Department is unable to  provide  statistics on clients based on  their town or  city of  residency,
however  can  provide  statistics on  clients based  on  their  preferred  or  scheduled  Council  for  a
citizenship ceremony. As at 30  November  2020,  there  were  4,312  clients whose applications for
citizenship by conferral had been approved and were waiting for a citizenship ceremony hosted by the
Brisbane City Council or other organisations within the Brisbane City Council area.
