Dear NBN Co Limited,

Being an active member of my community, The City of Stirling, we are retrieving information for a FTTN to FTTP technology change in our area.
I am requesting the information told that exists by Andrew Sholl NBN Corporate Affairs the on-ground line conditions for the 6DBL Doubleview area of Stirling, Western Australia.
Tests that are performed before choosing a technology in an area to see if the copper condition can handle the VDSL technology or if not, move to full fiber to the premises.
This information is needed to base my studies for an economical difference between FTTN and FTTP for our community.

Yours faithfully,

Aaron Rathbone

Dear NBN Co Limited,

To clear up what I am seeking, conversing with Andrew Sholl via twitter –

https://twitter.com/andrewsholl/status/6...

Mr Sholl – “But it all depends on on-the-ground conditions”

I’m requesting access to the document that has the “on-the-ground condition” as stated by Andrew Sholl for the 6DBL Doubleview area in Stirling.
This document should have the reason for choosing FTTN over other technologies in the area.
The “test” reference is requesting access to the document that has the procedure for obtaining the “on-the-ground condition”.
Is there noise line testing done? Is it done by opening pits and eyeing the condition of the copper?

Yours faithfully,

Aaron Rathbone

nbn have replied back satisfied the documents do not exist.
The nbn state they generally do on-ground testing of the copper but have NO RECORD of what the end result was.
