Subject: Freedom of Information request - 489 Visa Holder: 8239 Visa Condition

Dear Australian Border Force,

I would like to know the status of following:

I'm holding a 489 visa of Australia since 8 Oct 2019 vide Visa Grant Number 0049537278321. I'm required to fulfill visa condition 8539 to be eligible for applying 887 visa. Since international borders are closed, please let me know, if I'm unable to reach Australia till 7 October 2021, what will happen to my visa and how do I need to fulfill 8539 condition.

Why I'm not being allowed on compassionate grounds, despite the fact that I'm under obligation to fulfil visa condition 8539? 

What is government doing to allow 489 Visa holders stranded in India due to closed international borders?
