AFP investigation into ASADA / AFL leaks

Vito Guzzardi made this Freedom of Information request to Australian Federal Police

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Australian Federal Police did not have the information requested.

Dear Australian Federal Police,

I am told by ASADA representatives that the AFP investigated ASADA for leaks of confidential and private information during the course of their joint investigation with the AFL of the Essendon Football Club in possible PED taking.

I am also told by the same ASADA representative that ASADA was cleared of any leaks.

My request is obtaining and determining whether at any stage before, during or after this AFP investigation of ASADA did they request and / or check the AFL's Brett Clothier, Andrew Demetriou and Gillon Mclachlan's computers, e-mail and mobile phone records for any type of leaks.

In short, I request information and details on the above particular matter.

Yours faithfully,

Vito Guzzardi
