Thank you for your request of 3 April 2014 for the 'points factor role evaluation tool'. We are happy to provide this document to you administratively.
I have consulted with the area of the Australian Public Service Commission that is developing this tool and they have advised that the tool is currently in draft form and is likely to be revised before being finalised towards the end of this month (based on feedback from agencies). As I understand it, there will be revisions to the scoring methodology used in the tool before it is finalised.
Could you please advise whether you wish to have a copy of the current draft or whether you would prefer to have a copy of the tool when it is finalised later this month?

[2]Australian Public Service Commission.
Please find attached a DRAFT copy of Australian Public Service: Role
evaluation guidance and tool. Please note that this version of the
publication is a DRAFT version used as the basis for a trial with a number
of Australian Public Service agencies. The attached DRAFT is subject to
change as the Commission is currently refining the tool based on feedback
received during the trial. The final version of this publication is
likely to be different in some respects to the attached DRAFT version.
The final version of this document will be published on the Commission’s
website in the near future.
