Botany Rate Increase Documents
Dear Bayside City Council (NSW),
I write on to make a request for documentation for the residents of Botany with respect to the purported increase in rates scheduled to take effect.
Can council please provide me copies of:
- Emails, letters any any others correspondence discussing the rationale for the increase from or to councillors Paul Sedrak and Michael Nagi
- Emails, letters any any others correspondence discussing the voting preference and community engagement correspondence from or to councillors Paul Sedrak and Michael Nagi
- Documentation of the assessment criteria and assessment matrix scoring for the rate increase
- Documentation on community engagement methodologies
- Documentation on impact assessments with regards to the rate increase on residents.
- Documentation on the rationale behind the rate decrease for Rockdale LGA (assessment papers, briefing notes etc)
- Documentation regarding services that will be provided or maintained that necessitate the rate increase.
- Any calculation documentation and data prepared to support the rate increase.
