Dear Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads,

I hereby ask that any and all information in regards to the ww2 tunnels and bunkers in Townsville, Mt Louisa, Castle Hill, Stuart and all other unused WW2 underground locations be made available for historical purposes. This includes works done by the U.S military as well.

(the department).
 
I have made enquiries with the Infrastructure Management and Delivery
Division (Program Delivery and Operations – North Queensland Region) of
the department. The North Queensland Region have undertaken searches of
the department’s records and have advised that the department does not
hold any records responsive to your request.
 
You may wish to make enquiries with other agencies and I note from your
site that you have also contacted the Department of Defence and the
Townsville City Council.
