Wow, definitely seems like a charge to delay. How can 6 hours decision making be involved?

James Baldwin left an annotation ()

Bill, do some quick calculations. 185 pages, 2 minutes per page is 370 minutes. 2 minutes per page to read each page, consider the exemptions, redact the documents, write a decision.

Seems legit to me.

It appears my eyes are painted on, apologies, how did I miss the number of pages?

William Shakespeare

Dear FOI.LEGAL.TEAM,

Thank you for your letter.

This is to confirm I elect to pay the charges.
I will post you a cheque as soon as I have received it from my bank, this may take a few days. I will post the cheque to the following address:

Freedom of Information team
Department of Human Services
PO Box 7820
CANBERRA ACT 2610

Please consider allowing direct deposits for FOI request payments; this is far friendlier to the environment.

Yours sincerely,

William Shakespeare

William Shakespeare, how did this go? Did you receive the paperwork you requested and did you find it helpful?

Locutus Sum left an annotation ()

To follow on from @Michelle, did you in fact pay the fee? What was the decision regarding the request? Were the documents released in full, released in part, or not released at all? If the documents were released, please add an annotation that gives the reference for the release so that other people can ask the department for the same released information.

Please update the status of this request to show what happened.
