Complaints against Taxi Drivers Vs. Uber

Ben Fairless made this Freedom of Information request to Taxi Services Commission Victoria

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by Taxi Services Commission Victoria.

Dear Taxi Services Commission Victoria,

I would like to know how many complaints have been made to the Commission in 2015 which relate to an alleged Sexual Harrassment/Assault.

How many of these complaints remain open? How many have been referred to another agency? How many have been closed with no action taken, and how many have been closed with action taken against a taxi driver.

In addition, could you please supply ALL complaints made in 2015 in relation to drivers of "Ride Sharing" services (such as Uber), any responses received, and any action taken (if any).

I do not require anyones personal details so these can be excluded from my request.

Please process this request informally if possible. If it's not, can you please advise me how to make a formal Freedom of Information request.

Yours faithfully,

Ben Fairless
