Dear Mr Gough

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST

I refer to your email of 23 March 2022 addressed to the Australian
Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI). ATAGI is a part of the
Department of Health, and your enquiry has been forwarded to the
Department’s FOI team for response.

You have asked the question:

Is the contraction of COVID 19 considered a contraindication for not
having the vaccination?

A formal request for access to documents under the FOI must provide
sufficient information as is reasonably necessary to enable a responsible
officer in the Department to identify the document(s) requested. The FOI
Act does not provide a mechanism for questions to be raised and answers
provided, and it does not require the department to create a response to
such questions, except in very limited circumstances.

You have not provided sufficient information for a responsible officer in
the Department to identify the documents you are seeking access to and as
such, your request is not currently a valid FOI request.

As such, your request is not currently a valid FOI request.

If you wish to re-submit your request, please ensure that when you do so,
it is sent to the FOI team at [1][email address], and that you provide
sufficient information to enable the Department to understand what
documents you are seeking access to.

Kind regards

FOI Officer
