Dear Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority,

I would like to receive information about the ASADA investigation with the Cronulla Sharks. I would like specific information on:
1. the drugs used and their effects on players
2. conversation details between Cronulla and ASADA in relation to the players who participated and how the distribution to players occurred
3. how much knowledge Cronulla had of the use of peptides
4. Any conversations between Stephan Dank, Cronulla and ASADA regarding the use of drugs and players

Dear Ms Camilleri,

 

I am writing to confirm receipt of your request for access to documents
under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth).

 

A decision is due to you in this matter within 30 days, commencing the day
after the request is received. A decision is therefore due to you in this
matter by Wednesday 23 March 2016.

 

I understand your request to be seeking access to the following:

 

                “Documents relating to the ASADA investigation with the
Cronulla Sharks which reference:

·         The drugs used and their effect on players;

·         Conversation details between Cronulla and ASADA in relation to
the players who participated and how the distribution to players occurred;

·         How much knowledge Cronulla had of the use of peptides; and

·         Any conversations between Stephen Dank, Cronulla and ASADA
regarding the use of drugs and players.”

 

Please let me know as soon as possible if this is not an accurate
representation of your request. Absent any further correspondence the
request will be processed in the above terms.

 

We will email you shortly advising of whether charges will be imposed and
provide you with a preliminary assessment of any charges for processing
your request. If the estimated charges exceed $100.00, a deposit of 25%
will be sought. For estimated charges of less than $100.00, a deposit of
$20.00 will be sought. You should note that work will not commence on your
application until the deposit has been paid.

 

When the matter has been finalised a decision letter and final account
will be sent to you (if required). This final account will be based on the
actual time spent on search and retrieval, vetting and decision making in
relation to your request and is payable whether or not any documents are
released.

 

Further, in the context of refining what documents you are seeking under
the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth), we would also like you to
confirm whether you seek, as part of your FOI Request:

 

 1. publically available documents;
 2. duplicates of documents;
 3. chains of emails which are not the final email in the chain; or
 4. draft documents (that is you only require final versions of
documents).

 

Should we need to consult as part of responding to your FOI Request, we
propose to disclose this request and your name to those parties.
