Dear Australian Electoral Commission,

Mr Barnaby Thomas Gerard Joyce was elected to the House of Representatives for the electorate of New England, New South Wales, at the 2013 Federal Election.

I hereby request the following Government Information documents which I consider to be of great public importance:

a) A copy of the Nomination Form for House of Representatives Candidates in use by the AEC immediately prior to the writs being issued for the 2013 Federal Election;

b) A copy of any Information for House of Representatives Candidates documents produced by or provided by the Commonwealth and in use immediately prior to the writs being issued for the 2013 Federal Election;

c) Documents received by the AEC relating to the Nomination of Mr Barnaby Thomas Gerard Joyce to run for election in the seat of New England to the House of Representatives in the 2013 Federal Election;

d) A copy of the completed nomination form relating to the Nomination of Mr Barnaby Thomas Gerard Joyce to run for election in the seat of New England to the House of Representatives in the 2013 Federal Election; and

e) Documents, including any receipts issued, relating to the refund of the deposit made in relation to the Nomination of Mr Barnaby Thomas Gerard Joyce to run for election in the seat of New England to the House of Representatives in the 2013 Federal Election.

the Right to Know website, in which you request (‘your FOI Request’) to
the Australian Electoral Commission (‘AEC’) under the [1]Freedom of
Information Act 1982 for access to documents relating to the nomination of

I have interpreted your request as seeking:

statutory period for processing your request commenced from the day after
