Dear Mr Swift
I refer to your email below and request for documents relating to an
"innovative -in-one response vehicle that can stop and direct motorway
traffic after incidents – then clean up spillages and repair the road
The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional
Development (the department) does not own such a vehicle and is not able
to assist you on this occasion. This department is not responsible for
the management of traffic incidents. Generally, individual state and
territory governments have responsibility for such matters including first
response to traffic accidents, physical upkeep of road surfacing and
spillage clean ups etc.
The list below is to relevant state/territory agencies that may be able to
assist you with your enquiry. Please note that each state/territory also
has its own Freedom of Information (FOI) or access to information regime
and as such I cannot formally transfer your request. Each agency listed
below contains information on how you can request information from them.
