Dear FOI,
FOI request: FA 22/07/00457

I am writing this email to let you know that I am not satisfied with the handling of request made above by me.

I made this request in July and later I was asked to grant extension by 30 days to process my request. I agreed for that extension as one of the section in FOI act allows to do, just before days of extended deadline I was sent an invoice to pay to process my FOI request and I paid it in full.

During the second week of September I made an enquiry about the status of FOI request, and I got a response on stating it looks like it's not possible to finalize my request in the due date and said that fee paid my be for the request will be refunded.

I made other enquiry about the status and said it will take more time to process my request and will be finalised as soon as possible.

My extnded deadline expired on 15th September 2022, and I am writing this email again on 16th October 2022. I request department on what basis (under which section of the act) deadline is getting extended, and also request to indicate estimated timeframe to finalize my application.

Also, I want to inform that I didn't get any refund (invoice amount I paid for this request) back in to my nominated account. In the last response from FOI it was said that my bank account details where given to Finance section.

I hope that my request will be finalized as soon as possible, and also expect that refund process will be expidadted .

Yours sincerely,
Tharun Thatikonda
