Names of schools on My School

Kylie Smith made this Freedom of Information request to Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority,

Please can you give me a copy of a document that shows the names of all the laschools which are now on your My School webiste (April 2014). One document is enough if there's more that one.

My request is under the Freedom of Information Act.

Yours faithfully,

Kylie Smith

There's new schools getting built every year.

Dear Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority,

I'm writing about my April 03, 2014 FOI email called "Names of schools on My School". I got a mistake in it, "laschools" instead of "latest schools".

I meant to ask for a copy of a document that shows the names of all the LATEST schools which are now on your My School webiste (April 2014). What I meant was whether there's any schools added to the list from last year (http://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/re...).

My request is under Freedom of Information.

Yours faithfully,

Kylie Smith

Dear Ms Smith

I refer to your recent Freedom of Information (FOI) request to ACARA of 3
April 2014 (together with your clarifying email of 5 April 2014)
requesting, broadly, information about the schools displayed on the
current version of the My School website.

It is not entirely clear to me whether you are seeking 1). a document
showing schools added to the My School website in March 2014, or 2). a
document showing all the schools for which new data were added to the My
School website in March 2014.

Before responding to your request formally, could you please confirm
either interpretation (or advise if you are after something else
entirely).

ACARA does recognize that members of the public may find the most current
school list helpful. ACARA now publishes a list of schools annually. These
lists are found at:
([1]http://www.acara.edu.au/reporting/acara_...). As you will
see, all the historic lists, as well as the current list, are displayed on
this webpage (2008-2013 lists). If the second interpretation of your
request is correct, I would anticipate that this information will satisfy
your request. If this is the case, please advise whether you withdraw
your FOI request.

Regards
Peter

Dear Mr Matheson,

Thank you kindly for your reply. I was really looking to see whether there's any new schools, so the link you sent me is just great. It has everything I was looking for.

I therefore wish to withdraw my FOI request. I'll mark on my Right to Know account that I got the information I requested.

Yours sincerely,
