Dear Access Canberra Government Business & Coordination,

If I was to exclude duplicates, and refine the scope to only the most recent information (I don't need a user guide that is 3 version old) would that reduce the scope sufficiently as to avoid costs?

I note that most requests on Right to Know to the ACT Government don't impose costs.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Fairless

Good morning Mr Fairless,

Thank you for your email refining the scope of your FOI request.
Unfortunately, even applying the refinements you have suggested will still
result in a very significant amount of documents and incur fees, even if
potentially less, as mentioned in our letter to you dated 2 June 2016. Are
you able to ring this office on the number below so that we may help
define exactly what you are seeking in an effort to reduce fees and
provide you with exactly the documents that you are looking for?

Regards,
Matt Leonard
