Dear Department of Home Affairs,

I seek the following under FOI;

A document that lists the position titles of all roles filled within the department, by labour hire staff.

If no document exists containing that information; please produce it via s17(1) of the Public Service Act.

Dear Mr Smith,

Thank you for your email.

I note that you have previously submitted an FOI request (FA 20/08/00007) for access to:

A document that contains a list of all the position/job titles of every non-APS contractor working within your department

This request is currently processing.

In the subsequent request below you have requested access to:

A document that lists the position titles of all roles filled within the department, by labour hire staff.

Advice from the relevant Departmental business area is that contractors are non-APS staff sourced either directly or through a service provider as labour hire. As such, both your previous request and subsequent request relate to the same group of employees.

Given this, it would assist with the processing of your request if you could advise whether you are happy to withdraw the below request and proceed with FA 20/08/00007 only.

Yours sincerely,

FOI Officer
