Notes prepared by Sia Lagos that concerned successful candidate for Registrar role in the Federal Court not being forthcoming about changes to management system or otherwise

The request was refused by Federal Court of Australia.

Dear Federal Court of Australia,

On 10 February 2022, an article was printed in The Australian. The title of the article was Top judge warned of Registrar overhaul.

Justice Greenwood of the Federal Court of Australia is quoted in the article as saying:

“Sia spoke to me briefly before she went on leave and apparently the (APSC) representative was concerned that (the man) was not very forthcoming about the changes to the management system or otherwise he would make to improve the work of the court ...”

It is very highly likely that the reference to "the man" is a reference to Murray Belcher, the National Judicial Registrar & District Registrar - QLD (see https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/s... and https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/s...)

It is clear that the Australian Public Service Commissioner's representative for the National Judicial Registrar & District Registrar - QLD vacancy that Mr Belcher was selected by Sia Lagos, David Pringle and Andrea Jarratt to fill was Kerryn Vine Camp, the First Assistant Commissioner of the Australian Public Service Commission (see https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/c...).

Please provide any contemporaneous notes prepared by Sia Lagos detailing that the Australian Public Service Commissioner's representative was concerned that "the man" was not very forthcoming about the changes to the management system or otherwise he would make to improve the work of the Court.

Yours faithfully,

Christine
