Number of detention centers in Australia 2000-2014

Elin Eriksson made this Freedom of Information request to Department of Home Affairs

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Department of Home Affairs should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Please have a look at my annotation on the request called "Gender balance of detainees from years 2000-2014" (https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/g.... There are many parts of similarity to this request and my comment on the "Gender balance" request can also speak here.

There is a slight difference with the request on this page and it is maybe more similar to the request on the page of "Capacity of detention" (https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/c.... The applicant could maybe change the request easily so that it is for some documents. For example, a person can expect that there will be a document that says the name and place of each detention facility. Even if there is not one document it must be the case that for each detention facility there is at least one document to give its name! So the applicant can make the request for documents of this type.
