Number of GPs and Specialists (by speciality) per QLD Postcode
Dear Department of Health,
Please consider this email for a data request for the most current data (ie 2018) on :
• Number of General Practitioners per postcode in QLD
• Number of Gastroenterologists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Hepatologist per postcode in QLD
• Number of Oncologists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Neurologists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Pain Specialists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Mental Health Professionals per postcode in QLD
• Number of Endocrinologists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Rheumatologists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Respiratory specialists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Reproductive Specialists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Dermatology Specialists per postcode in QLD
• Number of Opthamology Specialists per postcode in QLD
Please provide this in an excel spreadsheet with the following columns:
1. Postcode (eg 4216) ; 2. Role (eg General Practitioners) 3. Number (eg 4)
This data should be based on the current medicare registrations required annually where provider number is connected to a provider location. No provider specific details is requested just aggregate numbers per postcode as per above.
I have reviewed the data AHPRA has online and it is insufficient to meet the above requirements. I have also reviewed the Health Workforce data set and this data is both inaccurate and does not provide the granularity required.
