Percentages of children murdered by a parent acting alone (mothers vs fathers) for each year from 2009 through 2019

Mark George made this Freedom of Information request to Australian Bureau of Statistics

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Dear Australian Bureau of Statistics,

Could you please provide me with percentages of children murdered by a parent who was acting alone 2009 - 2019 ??
I have been given opposing answers by different organisations for many years now. As an advocate against the demonisation of men and boys by the media and other organisations in Australia and me being someone who works towards decreasing the suicide rate of males (and females) I need to confirm for once and for all whether the information in this following statement is indeed fairly accurate or not...

"Around 81% of children murdered by a parent acting alone, are murdered by their mothers"

...So I am requesting the privilege of knowing the percentages for "Mothers vs Fathers acting alone in murdering their children for each year from 2009 through 2019" Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yours faithfully,
Mark George
