Reports of evaluations of government policy interventions
Dear FOI Contact Officer,
I am engaged in a project relating to how the effectiveness of government policy interventions is evaluated in Australia and New Zealand. I’m particularly interested in obtaining reports of good quality evaluations of policy outcomes. I’m only interested in reports produced since 1 January 2014.
I would be grateful if you could provide me with access under administrative arrangements to two or three such reports, if you have them. Since I am not sure what evaluations your agency has conducted, I leave it to you to select the reports. If my request is not clear, please let me know.

As currently worded, your administrative request does not enable us to identify the documents that you are seeking. Processing the request would require the FOI team to liaise with policy and program areas within the department to identify documents pertaining to particular policy and program areas, retrieve the documents, and assess them for release. The department is not able to divert resources within the agency to this task, as sufficient guidance has not been provided from you as to the documents you seek.
