Loretta Hendy

Dear RSPCA Victoria,
I have read your National Statistics 2014-2015 report and would like more information on what "other" means in table 3 "Reasons for euthanasia of dogs and cats by each RSPCA Society for the 2014-2015 financial year". Could you please provide the details of what "other" means if it does not fit into the other categories in the table "infectious, medical, behavioural or legal."
This is for a school assignment I am writing. I think the work you do is amazing and I get all my dogs from shelters. I am doing a report on how we can increase public awareness of the need for more shelter adoptions in Australia.

Yours faithfully,

Loretta Hendy

Dear Loretta

I'm assuming that you are referring to the statistics available at http://www.rspca.org.au/facts/annual-sta... which are statistics published by RSPCA Australia.

RSPCA Australia is a different entity to RSPCA Victoria, and they are the ones that collect the statistics from all of the state RSPCAs and compile the 'national statistics'.

Please contact them through their contact page at http://www.rspca.org.au/contact-us

Kind regards
