“…high-level statistics reports of NDIA decisions overturned by the AAT
for the last 18 months relating to all matters.”

Processing timeframes

We’re sorry to let you know that it’s taken us longer than expected to
process your request.  This is because we have been required to consult
with relevant line areas in order to obtain documents relevant to the
scope of your request, and we are still awaiting receipt of these
documents. In addition, due to the subject matter of the request, there
may be a high number of documents that may need to be sought through which
significantly adds to the processing time. We will endeavour to release
this matter to you as soon as practicable.

We are therefore writing to seek your agreement to a 30-day extension of
time to process your request for information under section 15AA of the FOI
Act, making the new due date 8 November 2022. 

Please let us know whether you agree by 12:00pm 5 October 2022. 

If you don’t agree, we may need to seek an extension from the Office of
