Dear University of Sydney,

After the release of the Bradley review in 2008, G08 Universities such as USYD made public commitments to recruit more students from low-SES schools.

I would like to know the increase of students enrolling at the University of Sydney from a low-SES school background before the review and after. Additionally the increase/decrease of private school students enrolling at USYD before and after the review.

Yours faithfully,

Prudence Wilkins-Wheat

I have said for the status of this request "A response will be sent by post". I think it is a strange way to mark the status but I think it is justified for this reason. When information is sent by post, Right to Know has not way to understand what actually happened with the request. In this application, the applicant has withdrawn the Right to Know application but has engaged with the university privately to get some information. I have no way to mark the request as "withdrawn" but it is the same position as "sent by post": Right to Know does not know how successful the request for information really was.
