The redacted footage of "The Fist" given to the ABC by the Department of Defence in 2014

The request was refused by Department of Defence.

Dear Department of Defence,
I am seeking to acquire the redacted footage given to the ABC of "The Fist" made by members of the 2nd Commando Regiment in the second half of 2009. The ABC states they were given redacted footage after submitting a FOI request, and stated to me that the footage has been made publicly available by the DoD.

The ABC has also confirmed, that the Department of Defence will provide a DVD
copy of the footage, on request.

Yours faithfully,

Nick

Right to Know has been in touch with the Department who have insisted on a postal address.

We have provided one privately to them and will upload the file when received.

Update from the department today:

Thank you for your patience we are hoping to have these out by the end of the week – worst case Tuesday next week. We have had some slight technical difficulties.

Dear DoD,
Can I ask for you to confirm the total duration of the footage you are providing?

Yours sincerely,

Nick
