Dear Anna,

Thank you for your GIPAA Informal Request (ref: 2017/634725), requesting
access to the “…car share operators’…monthly reports to Council that
include data on the use of each of their cars and the space the car
occupies.”

The City’s Transport Policy Officer recently responded to a request of the
same information.  Please see below her reply:

“The City will report to Council early in 2018 with a summary of car share
usage for the 2017 calendar year.  Please advise the requestor that he/she
will be able to access the Council report (available on the City’s
website) which will contain the monthly usage summaries by suburb/precinct
for 2017.

I have contacted the City’s legal team for further advice on the matter of
releasing the detailed monthly reports which are treated as commercially
confidential for 12 months from the date on which the reports are due to
Council.”
