FREEDOM OF INFORMATION - NOTICE OF TRANSFER – REF:9537 I refer to your request that was received on 19 April 2023 by the Department of Jobs, Skills,
Industry and Regions under the
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) seeking access to:
‘I request that I be granted access to all documents and recorded communications regarding
the following:
a) Authorizations made by the relevant minister under the Rain-making Control Act
1967 for the period of 1st January 2017 through to 18th April 2023
b) Orders of discontinuance issued according to the Rain-making Control Act 1967 for
the period of 1st January 2017 through to 18th April 2023
c) Offences committed under the Rain-making Control Act 1967 for the period of 1st
January 2017 through to 18th April 2023
d) The department's knowledge of or awareness of geoengineering, weather
modification or rain making activities conducted in Victoria but not subject to the Rain-
making Control Act 1967 for the period of 1st January 2017 through to 18th April 2023.’

the subject matter of the request is more closely associated with the functions of another
agency.
