Construction Division Years 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2020
Dear Department of Finance,
I am a researcher with ProSocial World and we are examining the results of a cultural transformation intervention
conducted by myself and Dr Robert Styles of Canberra with the Dept of Finance's Property & Construction Division in
2016‐17. We recorded a significant improvement in the census data between 2016 and 2017. We are currently
writing a research paper on the intervention and its sustained impact for a journal in the United States. For the
purposes of getting more accurate data on the impact, we are seeking to establish a baseline of APS census data for
the targeted division for a five‐year period commencing from the 2015 APS State of the Service Census Report
through to the year 2020. This will enable us to properly evaluate the impact of the intervention mapped to
baseline year 2015 and evaluate its progress in terms of the APS Census indicators till the year 2020. We are
particularly interested in how long the impact yielded sustained results post‐intervention.
All data will be completely anonymised for publication purposes and your support acknowledged. ProSocial World is
