
This is an update on the progress of the James St retaining wall project.
The RFQ is closed and we received only one submission which is around $800k. the tenderer also proposed an
alternative solution including new design and method to reach the desired outcome which decrease the cost to
$300k.
We continue to evaluate the submission and find the required budget to complete the project before the end of FY
22‐23.
Meanwhile we would like to know some details about the background of this project.
Could you please let us know if the owner of No. 42 has provided any report or approved document to show that
the soil erosion or movement on the ROW has caused the damage to his property?
