Decision on your Freedom of Information request 
 
I refer to your request, received by the Office of Senator the Hon Murray Watt, Minister for 
Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the Office) on 26 September 2023 for access under the 
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act) to the following documents: 
 
‘I request communications between Minister Watt and Phillip Glyde between 3 March 2023 
and today regarding sheep, live export, Phase out of live sheep exports by sea operations, 
extension requests, updates, or any other matter related to Ms Glyde's role with the 
department. 
 
This includes emails, text messages (inc SMS, WhatsApp, signal etc) and other 
communications.’ 
 
My decision 
 
The Office holds two documents (totalling 2 pages) that relate to your request. 
 
I have decided to grant you full access to the documents. 
 
On 5 October 2023 the Office acknowledged your request and advised you that we would not 
include personal details about the Office and the department junior staff. You did not contact the 
Office again about this.
