Subject: Freedom of Information request - Management of Offset Land that is Affected by Bushfire or Drought
From: Peter Harris <xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx>
To: FOI requests at Domestic Offsets Integrity Committee <xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx>

Dear Domestic Offsets Integrity Committee,
The last three years of exceptional rainfall have boosted the carbon capture in lands that are being "regenerated" and claimed by companies such as "Carbon Friendly" for Carbon Credits.
What happens to these credits when the inevitable fires devastate the vegetation in these areas and convert the stored carbon back to CO2?

Yours faithfully,
Peter Harris
