The purpose of this letter is to give you a decision about access to documents that you
requested under the
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (
FOI Act).

You requested access to documents relating to the
Australia’s Foreign Relations
(State and Territory Arrangements) Act 2020 on 14 August 2024. Specifically you sought
access to:
“A copy of the Australia’s Foreign Relations (State and Territory Arrangements) Act
2020 and the Australia’s Foreign Relations (State and Territory Arrangements)
(Consequential Amendments) Act 2020 as passed in full with signature of the Royal
Assent (as well as, if there is any, signature/wording from the federal parliament or
speaker).”

subsection 23(1) of the FOI Act to make decisions in relation to FOI requests.

In response to your request, a true copy of the Governor-General’s signature on the
Australia’s Foreign Relations (State and Territory Arrangements) Act 2020 and the
Australia’s Foreign Relations (State and Territory Arrangements) (Consequential
Amendments) Act 2020 is attached.
