FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST  
 
Your letter of request seeking access to documents under the provisions of the Freedom of 
Information Act 1982 (the Act), was received by Victoria Police on 23 April 2025. 
 
Fee required 
 
Your attention is drawn to section 17(2A) of the Act which requires that a request must be 
accompanied by a fee of $32.70. 
 
My office does not have the EFT facilities to process payments. Please either send a 
cheque/money order (addressed to Victoria Police) to my office via post or visit 
https://ovic.vic.gov.au/freedom-of-information/for-the-public/make-your-request-online/ to 
make payment of the application fee. If payment is made via the above online portal, please 
simply record the FOI file number in the summary field. 
 
Under section 17(4) of the Act, an applicant must be given a reasonable opportunity of 
consultation in order to make the request in a form that would comply with section 17(2) of the 
Act. 
 
Accordingly, payment of the application fee is required within 28 days of receiving this letter. If 
I have not received your reply before 12 June 2025, I wil  consider that documents are no 
longer required and your request wil  be finalised.
