Dear Mrs Minnucci

I refer to your email of 18 August 2025 to Airservices Australia requesting access to documents
under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act).
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with a decision on your request for access under the
FOI Act.
Scope of request
You set out your request in the following terms:
"Could I please obtain a copy of the current approved flight paths into and out of Hobart
Airport.
As Hobart Airport only has one runway, these are listed as RWY 12 arrivals & RWY 30
departures (Northern End) and RWY 30 arrivals and RWY 12 departures (Southern End).
As all flight comes from the North, I would like further detail that would show flights from (WA
& SA), Vic, and (QLD, NSW, & ACT) and where the waypoint crossovers occur before
connecting to direct route to and from Hobart runway."
Authorised decision- maker
I am authorised under section 23 of the FOI Act and the Airservices Instrument of Delegation and
Authorisation to make decisions on primary requests under the FOI Act.
Documents identified
I have identified one document as falling within the scope of the request and one document that is

Decision
