excess of 300 documents responsive to your request, located across various drives. Due to the 
current scope of your request, processing it in its present form may substantially and 
unreasonably divert the resources of the ATO from its other operations. 
To assist us in progressing your request, we kindly ask that you consider narrowing its scope. For 
example, you may wish to: 
•  Limit the timeframe of the lock screens sought to 2023–2024; or 
•  Limit the timeframe of the lock screens sought to 2025. 
We ask that you provide a revised scope by COB Tuesday, 9 September 2025 to avoid a 
‘practical refusal reason’ arising under section 24AA of the Freedom of Information Act 1982. 
Please note that depending on the revised scope, additional time may be required to process 
your request.
