Dear Mr Foley,
Freedom of Information Request in relation to the performance of Ayers Rock Resort
I refer to your request for access to documents relating to the above matter under the
Freedom of Information Act
1982. I have taken your request to be for:
- Monthly or quarterly performance reports for Ayers Rock Resort provided to the ILSC Board or its
committees (1 July 2012 – 30 June 2024)
- Papers recommending or approving impairments or write-downs for the resort.
- Papers approving cash injections, refinancing or other support for the resort, including letters of comfort or
guarantees.
- Any external audit management letters and internal audit final reports that deal with the resort.
We received your request on 12 September 2025 and the 30-day statutory period for processing your request
commenced from the day after that date. You should therefore expect a decision from us by 13 October 2025. The
period of 30 days may be extended if we need to consult third parties or for other reasons. We wil advise you if
this happens.
