I refer to your application under the ACT
Freedom of Information Act 1989 (the Act),
received by ACT Health on 11 November 2015, in which you requested access to
documents relating to the Walk-in-Centre Scope of Practice.
As Executive Director, Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Care, I am an officer
authorised under section 22 of the Act to make a decision in relation to your request. I
have decided that all documentation requested will be provided in full with the
exemption of the Clinical Decision Making Algorithms embedded in Software. These are
exempt in accordance with section 43 of the Act as these belong to an external
organisation and have a commercial value.
My decision is appealable under the Act. This means that if you are dissatisfied with this
outcome you have a right to seek a review under section 59 of the Act. This right of
review extends to a review of the adequacy of the search for documents undertaken by
ACT Health. If you wish to seek a review you should write to:
