Welcome to the Frontline Reforms Notice for 30 April 2025.  Please cascade these notices to your

Information Exploration 
Helping planners make quality and accurate decisions 
• Over the coming weeks, Service Delivery wil  deliver a myth busters campaign (DOCX 640KB) to
clarify some misconceptions.
• Using data and feedback, we have identified common myths to support planners to make quality
and accurate decisions.
• Through empowering staff to support our participants, we can continue working together to
provide a positive experience.
• More information can be found in the intranet notice. If you have questions on any of the myth
busters, please visit the Service Delivery Hub or speak with your line manager.
New Framework Planning updates: 
EOI for the Support Needs Assessor Advance Party is progressing 
• Assessment of EOIs for the Support Needs Assessor Advance Party is well underway.
• By now, candidates wil  have been advised if their application is progressing to the next stage of
shortlisting.

•  Applicants who have not been successful in this EOI round wil  have been provided with feedback 
and resources to support future applications, and are encouraged to apply for other opportunities 
that may become available.

provide frequent updates.

Top Tips from eLearn 1: Applying s33 Provisions after the May 2025 Release 
After the May 2025 Release, use the Plan Duration and Funding Period Length matrix to support your 
decision-making. 
Recommended Plan Duration 
•  Use the Plan Duration matrix to support decision-making about the length of plans (available here 
on the SD Hub).  
•  Remember the recommended plan durations are (when no exceptions apply): 
o  5 years for participants aged 9 and over  
o  2 years for participants aged below 9. 
Recommended Funding Period Length 
•  Use the Funding Periods Decision matrix to support decision-making about applying Funding 
Periods to plans (available here on the SD Hub). 
•  Remember the recommended Funding Period length is 3 months (when no exceptions apply).
