New COTS category open on Software
Licensing and Services Panel

Today we have released a new category on the Software Licensing and Services Panel, COTS
Software.
This launch follows a successful request for tender for the category, which closed on 20
September 2018. Thank you to everyone who provided input and helped shape the
documents.
This new category (https://www.tenders.gov.au/?
event=public.SON.view&SONUUID=90C61F3B-BE27-3313-BCD693DB777921C7) provides a
platform for government to buy a broad offering of COTS software and associated services.
The Software Licensing and Services Panel was launched in March 2018 with Microsoft
Licensing Solution Providers as the first category.
The panel is built to be flexible, so as technology evolves new software and services can be
added through future refreshes of the panel.
The COTS software category is the latest category added under the panel.
