One year on, the digital transformation strategy delivers smarter, faster government services
We’ve developed the first annual update of the
Digital Transformation Strategy (/digital-
transformation-strategy/digital-transformation-strategy-2018-2025). It outlines the next steps
to achieve seamless and personalised service delivery.
The Minister for Government Services, the Hon Stuart Robert MP released the update today in
his address to the AIIA ACT Ministerial Forum in Canberra.
We’ve set the vision for a government that’s easy to deal with, informed by Australians and fit
for the digital age.
It includes a 2 year
rolling Roadmap (/dts-roadmap) showing the initiatives and improvements
to make services better.
People expect government services to be as good — if not better — than their experiences
when shopping or banking online. We want to make sure our services meet these expectations.
We have made significant progress and completed 85% of roadmap initiatives on schedule at
the end of last financial year. We are well on the way to meeting our vision of delivering world-
leading digital services for all Australians by 2025.
Visit our dashboard (/digital-transformation-strategy-2019) for more information on the first
annual update to the Digital Transformation Strategy.
