Early-bird registrations now open
The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) has today opened early-bird registrations for the
Digital Summit 2020. The Summit will bring together digital thought leaders and practitioners
to consider how we adapt, engage and deliver world leading digital transformation.
“Collaboration is a key enabler to drive the digital transformation of government services. The
Digital Summit 2020 will showcase the innovative ways government and industry are
collaborating to deliver both during the pandemic and in a post-COVID world,” DTA CEO
Randall Brugeaud said.
Held virtually across four days from 10-19 November, attendees will hear from an exciting line
up of speakers covering the following themes: Disruption and Change; Human-Centred
Services; Leadership and People; Technology and Data, through a range of keynote speeches,
plenaries, interactive workshops and case-studies.
As part of day 1 attendees will hear from the Hon Stuart Robert MP, Minister for Government
Services and the National Disability Insurance Scheme, providing insights into the future of
data and digital government services as we discuss how the last year has changed our ways of
working, leading to an acceleration of digital transformation and better services for people and
businesses.
On day 2 attendees will explore human-centred design and strategies to deliver in ways that
meet user needs, hearing from Services Australia CEO, Rebecca Skinner, as well as experts and
advocates in user experience design.
On day 3, emerging and established leaders, including Stephen Scheeler, Founder of the Digital
CEO, will explore how we can all gain a better understanding of how leadership is playing an
ever-increasing role in digital transformation.
On the final day, DTA CEO Randall Brugeaud will be joined by other government and industry
experts to discuss how technology and data is enabling the delivery of better services for the
digital age.
Digital Awards finalists will be announced in the lead-up to the Summit, with winners being
announced during the Summit to celebrate leading examples of digital practice across
government and industry.
