As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, from 1 February 2021 we will begin
our Discovery stage of user research on the DTA website – to make sure we continue to meet
user needs.
Discovery is the first step in the Service Design and Delivery Process (/help-and-advice/build-
and-improve-services/service-design-and-delivery-process), part of the Australian
Government’s Digital Service Standard (/help-and-advice/build-and-improve-services/user-
research). It will help us to really understand:

who our users are
what users need from our website
what problems users are trying to solve.
Doing a Discovery first helps us to identify what changes we’ll need to make down the track.

Enhancing your user experience
We’d love for you to help us with our Discovery by completing a quick survey about your
experience with the DTA web. Your feedback will be invaluable to us, as we test and build new
design ideas, content and features, based on what you tell us.

Usability interviews
If you would like to also be part of our usability sessions, please register your interest as a
potential participant as part of the survey below.
