I  refer  to  your  email  dated  16  January  2018  to  the  National  Offshore  Petroleum  Safety  and 
Environmental  Management  Authority  (NOPSEMA)  requesting  the  DPP  DOF  subsea  submitted  for 
the Ichthys Project in May, June, July of 2017 for the subsea clamp replacements in WA, under the 
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act).   
 
The FOI Act Process 
 
Under the FOI Act, NOPSEMA has 30 days to process your request which commences on 17 January 
2018, which is the day after NOPSEMA received your request.  NOPSEMA is permitted to extend the 
timeframe by a further 30 days if your request requires consultation with relevant third parties or 
for various other reasons.  NOPSEMA will contact you if this happens. 
 
The  FOI  Act  provides  for  charges  to  be  levied  for  the  processing  of  FOI  requests.    If  such  charges 
apply to the request, you will be provided with an itemised written estimate. 
 
Please  note  that  information  released  under  the  FOI  Act  may  later  be  published  online  on

to certain exemptions (for example, personal information will not be published where this would be
