Freedom of Information (FOI) request - Access Decision
On 3 September 2018, the Department of Home Affairs (the Department) received a request for
access to document under the Freedom of Information Act 1982
(the FOI Act).
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with a decision on your request for access under the
Scope of request
You have requested access to the following document:
The number of people resettled to Australia through the Refugee and Humanitarian
Programme, who have been resettled from Indonesia.
To clarify, I am not seeking people whose country of origin is Indonesia, but who
were in Indonesia at the time they were resettled to Australia.
Please provide this by financial year, from the years 2000/01 to 2017/18.

I am an officer authorised under section 23 of the FOI Act to make decisions in respect of
requests to access document or to amend or annotate records.
